JAMMU, Mar 29: BJP here today organised a Booth Sashaktikaran review meeting of Gandhi Nagar and Trikuta Nagar Mandals of Bahu Constituency which was attended by senior party leaders.
Speaking on the occasion BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta asked the party cadres to bolster party activities at the grassroot level to further enhance party activities.
He emphasized on door-to-door campaigning in every booth of Mandals of Bahu Constituency.
Gupta claimed that J&K administration will soon make a provision to provide land and homes to poor families. He said that abrogation of Article 370 has unified the hearts of people from J&K with rest of the country and J&K is now progressing towards wholesome development.
Speaking in the meeting Munish Sharma, Incharge Booth Sashaktikaran Abhiyaan stressed on the importance of the role of BJP grass-root level cadres and focussed on BJP’s ideology, principles and history. He stressed upon BJP cadres and workers that BJP wants ‘Karyakartas’ to be active in their Wards and booths.
BJP District president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan clarified that BJP has been organizing review meetings at Mandal levels in the past and recently it has started holding such meetings at Booth levels also.
She acknowledged the focus on strengthening booth Sashaktikaran by forming effective booth committees while concentrating on every single booth keeping a focus on each vote.
BJP District general secretary, Pushpinder Singh; Mandal presidents, Bharat Bhushan Gupta and Neeraj Puri, senior leaders of BJP hailing from Jammu District south, Alp Vistaraks, Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, Ward presidents were also present in the meeting.
