JAMMU, Aug 10: Jammu Dogra Warriors (JDW) has flayed the decision of Central Government to bifurcate and “downgrade” J&K into two Union Territories (UTs) by abrogating the special status.
A handout claimed that in a meeting of prominent citizens and intellectuals from different sections of the society, JDW Chairman, Varun Magotra appealed to the citizens of Jammu to be aware about the ramifications of newly created UTs.
He also said that the identity of Dogras was earlier under the attack by Kashmiris but now the Central Government led by PM Modi has allegedly “ruined our rich culture and separate identity.”
Manoj Kumar, Deepak Singh, Ravi Kant, Nasir-ul-Haq, Sakina Wano and others were signatories.
