Abrol campaigns for Azad

JAMMU, Apr 12: Senior Congress leader and secretary PCC, Hira Lal Abrol started the election campaign in Basohli Assembly segment for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls and urged peoples and workers to vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is contesting candidate of the party from Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary seat.
Highlighting the achievements of Azad, Mr Abrol said that due to the efforts of Azad various Centrally sponsored schemes like PMGSY, NRHM, JNNURM, SSA and IAY witnessed widespread development in the Jammu and Kashmir.
The Coalition Government, he added worked for equitable development of all three regions of the State and it was during this era that schools, colleges, hospitals, roads, Panchayat Ghars and other infrastructure were developed in abundance.
He said Mr Azad has been in the Parliament for years together and would be able to represent his people in a far better manner than anyone else. He said that by sending Azad to the Parliament people will be making their voices heard at the highest forum in most effective manner.
