JAMMU, Aug 11: A meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) was held in Central University Jammu (CUJ).
A proposal was made in the meeting by current ABRSM president to form a new executive committee and it was unanimously accepted by all the members and finally Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh was unanimously elected as president and Dr. Vishal Pathania as general secretary of the new Executive Committee.
Dr. Shwetambari Jasrotia, vice president; Dr. Aman, vice president; Dr. Arvind Selwal, joint secretary; Dr. Vandana Sharma, press secretary and Dr. Shaili Sehgal, treasurer were elected in the newly constituted executive committee.
In Guidance Board, Prof. Deepak Pathania, Prof. Sunil Dhar, Prof. Richa Kothari, Prof. Yashwant Singh and some other senior faculty members were included.
Newly appointed president Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh said that aim of ABRSM is to take the University to new heights by establishing coordination among students, teachers and administration.
The meeting concluded with a resolution to work for the bright future of CUJ keeping nation building as paramount.
