JAMMU, May 30: Miran Sahib police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 11 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib police station conducted raid at Khour and arrested an absconder, who was at large from 2006.
The accused has been identified as Jagjeet Singh alias Raju, son of Harbhajan Singh, a resident of Mamka, Tehsil RS Pura.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 22/2006 under Section 2/8/15/18 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act with police station Miran Sahib.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ravinder Rakwal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
