RAJOURI, Feb 9: Police today apprehended an absconder of Thanamandi area, who was evading arrest for the last more than two years.
The accused, namely Ajaz Latief, son of Mohd Latief, resident of Lah village in Thanamandi, was wanted in case FIR number 19/2019, U/S 341/354 RPC and had been absconding since 2019.
A general warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of JMIC Thanamandi and he will be produced in the court accordingly.
Thanamandi Police Station team, headed by SHO Shokat Amin and assisted by PSI Maan Singh, conducted a raid at village Lah and succeeded in arresting the absconder.
