RAMBAN, Mar 15: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for last several months, was today arrested by Ramban police.
“Jasbir Singh son of Faqir Singh, resident of Kunchi, Ukhral (tehsil- Pogal Paristan), who was wanted in a case FIR Number 41/2021 U/S 8/18 NDPS Act of Police Station Ramsoo was evading his arrest from the clutches of law,” a police spokesperson said.
He said that on specific information regarding the absconder, a special police team of police station Ramsoo was constituted to nab the absconder. The team which was headed by SHO Ramsoo Inspector Nazir Ahmed under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Nisar Ahmed Khoja and under the overall supervision of Mohita Sharma SP Ramban, finally arrested the absconder from the Ukhral area and was produced in the court of law.
