JAMMU, July 26: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Akhtar Hussain, son of Mohd Mirza, a resident of Bajalta District Jammu, at present Baggar Tehsil Assar District Doda.
He was wanted in a case registered FIR Number 82/2022 under Sections 376, 506 and 34 IPC and 3/4 POCSO Act with Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
