RAMBAN, Apr 15: Continuing its drive against absconders, Sangaldhan police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, police team from police post Sangaldhan arrested an absconder from Hyderpora, Srinagar, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Azad, son of Abdul Aziz of Seripora Thatharka.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 63/2012 under Section 498-A and 109/34 RPC with police station Gool.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Sangaldhan PSI Parvez Khandey made the arrest under the supervision of Vipan Chandren, DySP Operations Gool and Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban.
