POONCH, Dec 21: The police arrested a wanted criminal absconding for the last about five years from Surankote area of Poonch district.
Official sources said that the accused was wanted in case vide FIR Number 154/2017, under sections, 323/325/347/341 RPC in Police Station Surankote, and he has been now apprehended.
Accused was identified as Naseer Ahmed (33), son of Kabeer Din, resident of village Hari Marhote in Surankote.
A senior Police officer confirmed and said that a warrant under section 512 CrPC, now 299 CrPC was also issued by JMIC Surankote against the accused.
