RAMBAN, June 5: An absconder, Aijaz Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohd Malik resident of Nagam Tehsil, District Kulgam who was booked in a case of FIR No. 09/2013 U/S 307/34 RPC at Police Station Banihal and was evading arrest has been arrested today by Ramban Police.
District Police Ramban made frantic searches and generated a specific input regarding whereabouts of the absconder after which a special police team with cops from Police Station Banihal was constituted and was headed by SHO Banihal Inspector Afzal Wani under the supervision of Nissar Khoja, SDPO Banihal with overall supervision of Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban to execute the operation.
The team after making hectic efforts arrested the absconder from Gund area of Kangan and produced him before the Court for judicial determination.
