JAMMU, Nov 18: RS Pura police arrested an absconder, who managed to give it a slip on October 28, 2016 during Naka checking at Agrachak in RS Pura.
“The absconder identified as Vijay Singh son of Nagar Mal, a resident of Ward No 7, had escaped during Naka checking at Agrachak on 28 of last month, after a chase leaving behind his car, from which one Desi Katta (fire arm) was recovered”, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said that Vijay is also a history sheeter of this police station and involved in five different cases of assault, snatching, possession of illegal arms, attempt to murder, etc, with FIR Nos 79/95 U/S 3/25 A Act, 261/2002 U/S 4/25 A Act, 147/2014 U/S 452/382/323 /34 RPC 4/25 A Act, 101/2008 U/S 307/ 34 RPC 4/25 A Act and 160/2016 U/S 3/25 A Act.
