DODA, May 3: Karara police arrested an absconder from Atholi Padder, who was evading his arrest since long, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Omkar Sharma, son of Thaker Lal of Dhalla Tehsil-Thathri, District Doda.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 21/2006 under Section 452, 323, 506, 147 and 336 RPC with Police Station Thathri. The court of JMIC Thathri had issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Karara Police Post ASI Mohammad Sharif made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
