JAMMU, June 2: Akhnoor police arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Akhnoor police station conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
The accused has been identified as Vipin Kumar, son of Bua Ditta, a resident of Ward Number 13 Bishnah.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 02/2009 under Section 379 RPC with police station Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Pushpinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
