JAMMU, Oct 12: Residency Road police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Residency Road Police Post conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The arrested person has been identified as Zulfqar Ali, son of Mohammad Zaffar of Prem Nagar, Jammu.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 91/2009 under Section 341 and 323 RPC with Police Station City. The Court has already issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against the absconder.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Residency Road Police Post SI Sunil Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO City Inspector Sunil Arya, SDPO City Varun Jandial and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
