JAMMU, Jan 2: An absconder, who was evading arrest since long landed into the net of Akhnoor Police.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Akhnoor Police Station apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The arrested person has been identified as Kaka Ram alias Lilli, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Bazighar Basti Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 97/14 under Section 379 RPC with Police Station Akhnoor. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shiv Dev Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
