UDHAMPUR, June 21: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past over six years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Udhampur police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2008.
The accused has been identified as Noor Mohammad, son of Laabh Din, a resident of Battal, Udhampur. There were four warrants against the accused issued by Udhampur Court.
Further investigations into the cases registered against the accused are going on.
Police team headed by SHO Udhampur police station Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan and SSP Udhampur Suleman Chowdhary.
