JAMMU, Aug 4: Chowk Chabutra police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chowk Chabutra Police Post conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Majid Amin, son of Mohammad Amin Bhat of Gudhali, District Kishtwar.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 57/13 with Police Station Paaca Danga.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Chowk Chabutra SI Purab Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SDPO City Varun Jandiyal and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
