SAMBA, Jan 28: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past three years has been arrested, a police official said.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Hussain, son of Dalmir, a resident of Sidhra Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 195/16 under Sections 376, 342, 336 and 147 RPC with Police Station Samba. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him, police official added.
The arrest warrant has been executed by a team from Samba Police Station led by SHO Inspector Chanchal Singh under the supervision of Deepak Digra, DySP Headquarters Samba and Dr Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba.
The accused was produced in the court and has been sent to Sub District Jail Hiranagar.
