JAMMU, Apr 22: An absconder who was evading arrest for last about five years was arrested and produced today in the court of law by Gangyal police.
“The accused has been identified as Ram Prakash (34) son of Hukum Chand, resident of 277 Shakar Basti, Delhi. He was wanted in a case FIR No 109/2014 under Sections 420/406/34/ RPC registered at police station Gangyal,” a police official said.
He said on a tip off, a team of Gangyal police led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali today raided his hide out and arrested him. Later, the accused was also produced before Sub Register Judicial Magistrate 1st Class Jammu.
