JAMMU, Oct 8: Gujjar Nagar Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 10 months.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Gujjar Nagar led by PSI Ajaz Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Peer Mitha Inspector Mohammad Rashid and SDPO City Sharad Kalu conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large from the past 10 months.
The arrested person was identified as Balbir Singh, son of Vijay Ram of Maari District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 03/2022 under sections 341, 323 and 382 IPC with Police Station Peer Mitha. One stolen Alto car bearing Registration No JK02CA-3441 was also recovered from his possession.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
