JAMMU, Feb 17: Bishnah police today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last 13 years.
Acting on specific inputs, teams of police station Bishnah constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vinod Kumar raided suspected locations and arrested the absconder namely Mikha son of Amru, resident of village Gati (tehsil and district Kathua), who was evading his arrest since 2009 in a case FIR Number 46/1996 U/S 454/380 IPC of police station Bishnah.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant of arrest u/s 512 CrPC was also issued by the Court JMIC Bishnah since 22-04-2009 against the absconder.
