JAMMU, Dec 4: An absconder wanted in different cases was today arrested by Akhnoor police after two years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Akhnoor Police Station arrested an absconder.
The absconder has been identified as Rajbir Singh, son Teja Singh, resident of village Jad, Akhnoor.
The accused was wanted in a case registered with Akhnoor Police Station under FIR number 31/2011 under Section 48-Excise Act.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
