JAMMU, Nov 12: Domana and Pouni Chak Police jointly arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 2 years.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Pouni Chak led by PSI Nitish Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Jammu conducted raid in Gole Gujral area and apprehended an absconder, who was at large from the past two years.
The arrested absconder was identified as Amarjeet Singh, son of Joginder Singh of Camp Gole Gujral District Jammu.
He was absconding in a case registered under FIR Number 80/2018 under Sections 454 and 354 RPC with Police Station Domana. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Sub Registrar Court Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
