DODA, Mar 11: Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 20 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since 2001.
The arrested person has been identified as Romesh Kumar, son of Prem Nath of Pouni, District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 64/2001 under section 279, 337and 338 RPC registered with Police Station Doda.
The absconder after being arrested was produced immediately in the court of law.
The whole operation was conducted by SHO Doda Inspector Munir Khan under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Manoj Kumar and Additional SP Master Popsy.
