JAMMU, Apr 7: Nowabad Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 30 years.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Vijay Kumar under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Jammu Swati Sharma conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was at large from the past 30 years.
The accused was identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Mani Ram of Kher Majur Tehsil Chowki Choura District Jammu.
He was wanted in cases registered under FIR Numbers 190/1992 under Section 380 RPC, 175/1992 under Section 379 RPC, 189/1992 under Section 380 RPC and 165/1995 under Section 379 RPC with Police Station Nowabad.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
