JAMMU, July 2: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested an absconder after 4 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh and assisted by ASI Kewal Singh apprehended an absconder, who was at large since 2017.
The accused was identified as Mehar Singh, son of Paras Ram of Ambota Tehsil Barsar District Hamirpur Punjab.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 117/2017 under Section 8/15 NDPS Act and 420 RPC with Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
Further investigation is going on to enquire about various activities the criminal has been involved into since 4 years.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh.
