KATHUA, Nov 10: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last two years.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Rajbagh Police Station conducted a raid at Lakhanpur and arrested the absconder Wali Mohd, son of Mir Ali of Keerian Gandiyal, District Kathua.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered under Section 188 RPC at Police Station Rajbagh, he said.
Arrest warrant under Section 512 Cr PC were issued by Mobile Magistrate on May 3, 2012, against him, spokesman informed.
