JAMMU, Oct 9: RS Pura police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past one year.
As per police sources, police team from RS Pura police station arrested an absconder, who was at large since last year.
The accused has been identified as Varinder Singh, son of Satinder Singh, a resident of Satrayan, RS Pura.
He was wanted in a case registered on February 5, 2015 under FIR Number 7/14 under Section 341 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with RS Pura police station.
The accused was produced before the Court of JMIC RS Pura and has been sent to District Jail Ambphalla.
Police team headed by RS Pura police station Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu Randheer Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
