RAMBAN, Feb 28: An absconder, Mohd Waheed, son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Darhal Rajouri, who was booked in case of FIR No. 115/2022 U/S 8/15/29 NDPS Act at Police Station Banihal was evading arrest from the clutches of law since long.
District Police Ramban was looking for him and on specific information, a special police team of Police Station Banihal was constituted which was headed by SHO Banihal Inspector Afzal Wani under the supervision of Nissar Khoja, SDPO Banihal with the overall supervision of Mohita Sharma, SP Ramban.
The team arrested the accused person from Jammu and he will be produced before the Court for judicial determination.
