RAMBAN, Jan 12: An absconder wanted in a case registered at Police Station Batote has been arrested by Police here today.
A case in FIR number 18/2022 U/S 379/411/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Batote against Chain Singh, son of Premu, resident of Sanasar, Tehsil Batote but he was absconding and evading his arrest since February 2022 with a motive to avoid legal proceedings.
A general warrant of arrest vide Order No.115/9-1/APPB dated 22.06.2023 was issued by the Court of Sub Judge Batote against the absconder.
He was arrested by cops from Police Post Patnitop led by Incharge Police Post Patnitop under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
The absconder was produced before the Court of Law for further course of action.
