JAMMU, Mar 31: Bishnah police today arrested a bovine smuggler, who was absconding for past couple of months after his involvement has surfaced in smuggling of bovine animals from Jammu to Srinagar.
The absconder has been identified as Mohammad Sharief alias Shaffi, son of Mohammad Yusuf R/o Sikandarpur, Bishnah.
He was involved in smuggling of bovine animals for the past quite sometime.
Police parties headed by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania arrested the smuggler.
A case had already been registered against him at Bishnah police station.
