KISHTWAR, Nov 6: Police here today arrested an absconder who was on the run for the last 10 years.
Giving details in this regard SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal said that Kishtwar Police received information about the absconder and carried out a raid to track him down.
The raid was led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO Police Station Kishtwar under the supervision of Dy.SP (Hqrs), Dr. Ishan Gupta.
After relentless efforts, the absconder, identified as Akther Hussain Sheikh, son of Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Malipath, Kishtwar was arrested and he was wanted in case of FIR No. 152/2013 U/Sections 395/435/427/307/332/336/353/147/148/149/RPC at Police Station Kishtwar.
