JAMMU, July 26: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last 19 years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Miran Sahib Police Station arrested an absconder, who has been identified as Faqir Chand alias Mandu, son of Babu Ram of Tochrian, presently living at Sher-e-Chak, Arnia.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered with Miran Sahib Police Station under FIR number 70/1994 under Sections 341, 323, 325 RPC 4/25 Arms Act, he added.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
