DODA, Dec 14: Police here today arrested an absconder who was evading arrest since the last three years.
Police sources informed, the accused Imran Ahmed, son of Mohd Din, resident of Hawagen, Ramban was involved in bovine smuggling case of FIR No. 95/2021 under Section 188 IPC registered against him at Police Station Doda.
After completion of investigation of the case, Challan was produced in the Court.
The accused was declared as absconder and warrant of arrest was issued against him by the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Doda.
On the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, cops from Police Station Doda led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, SHO Doda made hectic efforts and arrested the absconder from Ukhral area of Ramban and produced him before the Court.
