JAMMU, May 14: Police in Peer Mitha area of the City claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past 5 years.
Mohammad Rafi of Belicharana, Jammu, was wanted in case FIR number 23/2019 under Section 379 of the IPC but he was continuously evading his arrest.
Today, a team of Police Station Peer Mitha led by SHO concerned under the supervision of SDPO City North, Jammu, and guidance of SP City Jammu, arrested the accused utilising human and technical intelligence.
Post arrest, the accused was presented before the court and subsequently lodged in District Jail Amphalla, Jammu, after following legal formalities.
