JAMMU, Feb 7: Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed today that they have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past 6 years.
A police spokesperson said that Gurpreet Singh of Upper Gadigarh, Jammu, who was involved in case FIR number 96/2017 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act was arrested with the help of CCTV footage acting on specific inputs.
“The accused was later produced before the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, RS Pura, Court and shall be held in judicial custody till further hearing,” he said.
