JAMMU, June 13: Jhajjar Kotli Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last seven years.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Jhajjar Kotli police station arrested an absconder, who has been identified as Mohd Sadeeq, son of Hassan Din of district Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR 92/2006 under Section 397 RPC at Jhajjar Kotli police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police party led by SHO Parvez Sajjad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
