JAMMU, Jan 11: Bakshi Nagar police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 8 years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific information, police team from Bakshi Nagar police station led by SHO Dileep Singh conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 8 years.
The accused has been identified as Sanjay Kumar alias Murli, son of Mohan Lal of Dogra Hall, Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered with Bakshi Nagar police station under FIR number 83/2006 under Section 382 RPC.
Police produced him in the court of law.
