KISHTWAR, Feb 14: Police here today arrested an absconder who was on run for the last 9 years.
Giving details in this regard, SSP Kishtwar informed that Police received information about the absconder Mubarak Bakatir, son of Abdul Gaffar, resident of Nehru Park, Srinagar and he was arrested by Inspector Dilraj Singh, SHO Police Station Kishtwar under the supervision of Dy.SP (Hqrs), Dr. Ishan Gupta.
The absconder was wanted in a case of FIR No. 165/2015 U/Section 419/420 registered at Police Station Kishtwar.
Kishtwar Police has warned all the absconders to surrender at the nearest Police Station else stern action Under Section 81/82 Cr. PC shall be taken against them.
