JAMMU, Oct 3: An absconder, who was evading his arrest since long has landed into Miran Sahib police net.
As per police sources, based on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Liaquat Ali, son of Hassan Mir, a resident of Giddar Gallian.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 49/15 under Section 353, 336, 427, 147, 148, 149 and 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act with Police Station Miran Sahib.
Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Additional Special Mobile Magistrate RS Pura.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ravinder Rakwal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
