DODA, May 15: An absconder, who was evading arrest for last many years, was arrested today by Gandoh Police.
While giving details, a spokesman of District Police Doda said that one absconder namely Mohd Yasir son of Noor Mohd Lone resident of Bathri, tehsil Kahara (Gandoh), who was involved in a case FIR Number 99/2019 U/S 457, 380-IPC registered against him in Police Station Gandoh was evading his arrest for last many years despite Challan produced in the Court of Law.
He said a police team was constituted at Police Station Gandoh to arrest him and the team after getting technical lead and generating the information, tracked down the absconder and finally arrested him from Bhalla (Bhaderwah), and produced him before the Court wherefrom he was sent to District Jail Bhaderwah for judicial custody.
