UDHAMPUR, Sept 15: An absconder, who was on the run since 2020, has been arrested by Udhampur Police.
A special police team from Udhampur Police Station, led by the Station House Officer (SHO), successfully apprehended the absconder, Mohd Saquib, son of Abdul Rashid, from Baadi, Solan in Himachal Pradesh.
Saquib, a resident of Chari Sial near Railway Station Udhampur, had been evading arrest in connection with an FIR (Number 482/2020) registered under sections 341, 323, 147, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The arrested accused was produced in court of law for further legal proceedings.
