RAJOURI, Mar 7: The police nabbed an absconder who was evading his arrest for the last four years from Kotranka area of Rajouri district today.
He has been identified as Ali Mohammad, son of Kala resident of Prouri Gujjran, the police said.
Kotranka police had booked this accused in a case FIR No. 92/2016 but he left the area after committing the crime and was evading his arrest since then.
Police further said that absconder was found in the area and an input was received after which a team of police headed by Station House Officer Kandi, Insp Mustaj Ahmed rushed to the spot and succeeded in arresting him. Later, he was produced before the Court of JMIC Kotranka from where, he was sent to District Jail, Dhangri.
