RAJOURI, Jan 15: While continuing its drive against absconders, the police nabbed yet another absconder in Rajouri, who was wanted in a case but was evading his arrest since 2016.
The accused has been identified as Asad Mehmood, son of Babu Hussain, a resident of Darhal Malhot in district Rajouri.
Police team of from Police Station Rajouri led by SHO Rajouri Inspector Aejaz Ahmed Wani raided different suspected locations and in one such raid, arrested the accused absconder from Dhangri area of Rajouri.
The accused was evading his arrest since long in case FIR No. 358/2016 of Police Station Rajouri and a general warrant was issued against him by the Court. After apprehension, the arrested accused was further produced before the court of law today.
