JAMMU, Feb 27: Bishnah Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest in Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vinod Kundal apprehended an absconder, who was at large in POCSO Act case.
The accused was identified as Tariq, son of Javed, a resident of Dabber.
He was later handed over to RS Pura Police as a case FIR Number 183/2020 under Sections 363, 343, 212, 376-D and 109 IPC and 3/4 POCSO Act stands registered against him at Police Station RS Pura.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
