Absconding bovine smuggler nabbed

JAMMU, Aug 10: Jhajjar Kotli police arrested an absconding bovine smuggler, who was evading his arrest for the past 6 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Jhajjar Kotli police station led by SHO Inspector Ravinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey conducted a raid in Batote area of District Ramban and nabbed an absconder.
The accused has been identified as Om Raj, son of Banki Lal of Batote. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 104/2009 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act with police station Jhajjar Kotli.
The accused was produced before Munsiff Court Jammu and further sent to judicial custody.
