JAMMU, Aug 19: Police today arrested the driver of a bus, who absconded yesterday after crushing a man under the bus he was driving at Bus Stand here.
According to the reports, a Bus bearing registration No JK02QA- 5353 crushed Birender Singh, son of Ranbir Singh, resident of Balpura (Udhampur) yesterday night. The driver of the Bus identified as Mohd Zaffar, son of Gulab Din, resident of Thanamandi (Rajouri), absconded soon after the incident while the identity of the deceased could not be identified yesterday.
A case in this regard had been registered at Police Station Bus Stand yesterday while the arrest was made today.
