REASI, Mar 23: A notorious drug peddler, who was evading arrest for the last seven months, was nabbed yesterday by Reasi Police.
The arrested drug peddler, namely Shoib Magray son of Mohd Sagar of Ward number 07, Tehsil & District Reasi, is wanted in drug peddling case FIR number 144/2021, under section 8/21/22/27/27(A)/29 NDPS Act & 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station, Reasi.
Shoaib was arrested in the said case on 13-07-2021 and the Court of Session Judge Reasi had granted him interim bail with effect from 29-07-2021 to 04-08-2021. Even as the court cancelled the interim bail on 04-08-2021, the accused went underground and was apprehended yesterday from Nai Basti Reasi.
He was produced in the Court of Session Judge Reasi, who granted judicial custody of the accused.
