JAMMU, Dec 27: Bahu Fort Police arrested a drug peddler, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, in reliable information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Sajad Sarwar conducted raid and apprehended a drug peddler, who was at large since long.
The arrested person was identified as Vishal Gandhotra, son of Deena Bandhu of Doontri Bazaar Tanghay Wali Gali Pacca Danga District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 54/2005 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act with Police Station Bahu Fort. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by 2nd Additional Session Court Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
